Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Humanize Me. Please read them. By creating an account, subscribing to a paid plan, or otherwise using the service, you agree to be bound by them.

1. Who we are

Humanize Me is operated by a sole trader registered in the Republic of Türkiye, with a place of business in Istanbul. References to “Humanize Me”, “we”, “us”, and “our” in these terms mean that operator. Full legal entity details are available on request to support@humanize-me.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Humanize Me. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

3. Your account

You may use the free tier without an account. To subscribe to a paid plan you must create an account using a valid email address and a password that meets the strength requirements shown on the signup form. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at support@humanize-me.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

Humanize Me is provided for personal and professional writing improvement. You may use it to rewrite AI-generated or AI-assisted drafts for publication in blogs, newsletters, marketing materials, professional correspondence, resumes, cover letters, and similar legitimate contexts. You are responsible for reviewing all output before use and for ensuring it meets the standards of your intended publication or platform.

5. Prohibited uses

The following uses are expressly prohibited:

• Academic dishonesty. Submitting AI-generated or AI-rewritten work as your own original work in academic settings, including essays, assignments, examinations, theses, or any evaluated academic submission, where AI assistance is prohibited or undisclosed.
• Spam and bulk content generation. Using Humanize Me to produce high volumes of low-quality content intended to manipulate search engines, flood inboxes, or otherwise abuse publishing platforms.
• Fraud and deception. Using Humanize Me to produce content intended to deceive, defraud, or mislead individuals or organizations.
• Detector bypass claims. Representing or marketing content produced with Humanize Me as guaranteed to pass or evade AI detection tools.
• Illegal content. Using Humanize Me to produce or distribute content that violates applicable law, including hate speech that is illegal in your jurisdiction, content that infringes intellectual property rights, or content depicting the sexual abuse of minors.
• Automated abuse. Scripting the service to circumvent rate limits or credit caps, account sharing across users on a single-seat plan, or any other technical workaround that bypasses the limits of your plan.

6. Subscriptions, billing, and Paddle as Merchant of Record

Paid subscriptions are sold and billed through Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects payment, issues invoices and receipts, and remits VAT and sales taxes where applicable. Your billing relationship is with Paddle. Charges from Paddle on your card statement reflect a transaction with us, processed by Paddle on our behalf.

Plans are billed in advance on the cycle you select (monthly, quarterly, or annual) and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account page; access continues until the end of the current paid cycle, after which the subscription does not renew.

7. Intellectual property

Our property. The Humanize Me name, branding, website, software, and the underlying rewrite pipeline (including the Phantom engine) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. These terms do not grant you any right or license in our intellectual property other than the limited right to use the service as described.

Your input. You retain all rights in the text you submit for rewriting. By submitting text you grant us, for the duration of processing only, the limited license necessary to send that text to our AI provider, receive the rewritten output, and return it to you. We do not claim ownership of your input.

Your output. Subject to your compliance with these terms, the rewritten text returned to you is yours to use. You are responsible for confirming that your underlying input does not infringe third-party rights and that your intended use of the output complies with applicable law and any platform rules where you publish it.

8. No warranties on output

Humanize Me output is provided as-is. We make no warranty that output will be factually accurate, free from errors, appropriate for your specific use case, or that it will achieve any particular result with AI detection tools. You use the output at your own discretion and risk. Always review before publishing.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Humanize Me is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on its output. This includes but is not limited to: factual errors in rewritten content, academic or professional consequences of submitting AI-assisted work, lost profits, lost goodwill, or any outcome related to AI detection tools. Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from any third-party claim arising from your input text infringing the rights of a third party, your use of the output in violation of these terms or applicable law, or your breach of section 5 (Prohibited uses).

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Humanize Me, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, abused the service, or otherwise put the service or our other users at risk. Accounts terminated for cause are not eligible for refunds of unused portions of the subscription, as described in the Refund Policy. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any non-contractual obligations arising from them are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by first contacting support@humanize-me.com shall be brought exclusively before the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (İstanbul Çağlayan), Republic of Türkiye. Mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence are not affected by this clause.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced by email to registered users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Humanize Me after that period constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The version in effect on the date of a given subscription charge governs that charge.
